There’s caring about something, and caring for something. To take care, you have to take action.
Extinction Rebellion saved my life. I was in a hole, going nowhere. I don’t know what I was doing all those years; playing Xbox. Then I stepped up. It gave me the courage to be me. It gave me a reason to be here, something I believe in, something I can do. And, in return, I put my heard and soul into supporting Extinction Rebellion.
I was arrested in Broxbourne for blocking Murdoch’s press. My bail conditions were not to enter the M25, or to associate with Extinction Rebellion, or any other environmental organisations. You get these bail conditions, but they’re not as important as the planet, that’s what really matters. I went back to participate, with a letter to my MP, and broke bail.
In April 2019 so many people came out and said: “Yes! We care!”. They must still care. But, where have they gone?
