What matters is to be spiritually congruent with yourself. Everything else flows from that.
I wouldn’t say I a an activist. In being an activist I’m not expressing my deepest pure-hearted self. I’m here to do a job. Activism is something I fell into, realizing it can achieve things outside of myself, through what I have the privilege of knowing and through having the privilege to act.
I was a tunneler with Just Stop Oil. Not for long: only sixteen hours.
It’s so much easier to go on an action and block an oil tannker than it is to knock on someone’s door and invite them to a meeting about Climate Change. It’s such a terrible message to bring them.
I sit in Cafes a lot, looking spaced out, writing a novel, on my phone. In writing I can clarify what I believe, and what I communicate to others. Will there be a planet for me to publish a novel on?
